| This blwoer is worth the money. I first bought a homelite and was not happy. So I decided weedeater has been around for yrs and as a kid I had given some weedeater product H***, and still today they work. So I purchased this blower and I am not disapointed. It is dependable, easy to start and runs great. I would reconmend this blower to a friend!! |

No assembly is required with this blower. Simply take it out of the box and slide on one piece and you are ready to fill it with fuel and get started. It takes a mix of 2 cycle oil and gasoline. The first time I started mine it took about 7-8 pulls and now it usually starts after 1-2 pulls.
When you have it on full throttle this thing really blows. It has plenty of power for average home use and would probably be good enough for commercial use in my opinion. It has a speed adjustment that is nice so you can adjust to suit your needs or you can let it idle when you are carrying it from one location to another. It also has spring loaded handle that does a good job of reducing the vibration so your hands don't get that numb feeling from the vibration. It only weighs about 8 lbs. and it is comfortable to carry around.
I am very happy with this purchase!!!

My new Weed Eater FB25 is lighter than my last one,
is not as noisy, blows harder, and starts easier.

My neighbor did me a favor. Mixed motor oil and gas when my blower ran out of gas and returned my leaf blower. I asked him if it was two-stroke oil and he kind of got this look on his face like when I tell my wife to click command-Q when closing applications, not the red button.
After draining the old blower's new mix of brown oil and gas (read: gaz, if you are from Philly) and disposing of it, I tried a really cool blow/suck contraption from Toro. Works great, blows like heck and sucks up and mulches leaves. Problem: requires a cord. Not good for doing that 7-minute trip around the house before mowing.
This Weed Eater fit the bill for me. Light weight, "fairly" high powered and cord free.
I cannot really complain. The item does what it says. It is light, it blows leaves and there is no cord. Problem solved.
That being said, there is no trigger, so don't expect to be changing the speed without using your free hand to move the accelerator at times. And it is not terribly powerful. It is okay, just not great. If you are looking to blow leaves off the driveway and sidewalk, go for it. If you are looking to do the same thing from 30-feet away, look elsewhere. |
The trottle button broke the second time I used it and company will not let me return. Very disappointed.
